energy Performance certificates
Existing dwellings need EPC's or energy performance certificates to be able to get a completion certificate and be rented or sold.
Over-glazed extensions
When your extension doesn't comply with the 25% glazing rule we can run calculations to prove the extra glazing doesn't increase the carbon emissions or take measures to make sure it doesn't.
Air Permeability Tests
Air pressure test certificates are necessary for SAP EPC's and we can work with you to help you get the result you can achieve. Our fan is big enough to work accurately on houses with an envelope area of 1000 square meters.
Water Calculations
Part G of the building regulations require a calculation of the potable water usage, that should be less than 125ltrs./person/day. Sometimes there will be a planning condition that specifies a figure below this.
